Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed with LuvLuxe, operated by LuvLuxe Australia, ABN 12 141 444 886.
By placing an order with LuvLuxe, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy, together with our Terms of Service, Refund Policy and other store policies.
LuvLuxe sells curated luxury resale goods, including pre-owned, vintage, rare, one-off and consignment items. Because many items are high-value and not easily replaceable, additional shipping, payment and security checks may apply.
1. Shipping Locations
LuvLuxe ships orders within Australia and may also offer international shipping to selected countries.
International shipping availability may depend on the item, value, destination country, courier availability, insurance options, customs restrictions and our internal security checks.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or modify an international order if we cannot safely, legally or reasonably ship the item to the destination provided.
2. Order Processing
Orders are processed after payment has been received and verified.
For high-value luxury items, LuvLuxe may complete additional checks before dispatch, including:
- payment verification
- identity verification
- address confirmation
- fraud prevention review
- courier and insurance availability checks
- final inspection of the item before dispatch
Order processing may be delayed if:
- payment has not cleared
- additional verification is required
- delivery details are incomplete or incorrect
- the order is flagged for review
- the item requires final inspection before dispatch
- the order is placed during weekends or public holidays
- international courier or customs documentation is required
We reserve the right to hold, delay or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, payment risk, identity mismatch, delivery risk or customs/shipping restrictions.
3. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address at checkout.
This includes the correct:
- full name
- street address
- suburb/city
- state/province
- postcode/ZIP code
- country
- phone number
- email address
- delivery instructions where required
LuvLuxe is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, returned parcels or loss caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery details provided by the customer.
For security reasons, we may only ship high-value orders to a verified billing address or an address approved during our verification process.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, refusal to accept delivery, unpaid customs charges or failure to collect, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping, redelivery, return shipping, customs or handling costs.
4. Australian Shipping
For Australian orders, LuvLuxe may use Australia Post, courier services or other trusted delivery providers depending on the item, value, location and delivery requirements.
Shipping options available at checkout may include standard delivery, express delivery or insured delivery, depending on availability.
For selected high-value items, LuvLuxe may require:
- tracked delivery
- signature on delivery
- insured delivery
- identity verification
- payment verification
- delivery to a verified address
- in-store collection instead of delivery
We may change the delivery method where required for security, insurance or operational reasons.
5. International Shipping
LuvLuxe may offer international shipping for selected orders and destinations.
International shipping is subject to courier availability, insurance availability, customs requirements, import restrictions and our approval.
International customers are responsible for checking whether an item can legally be imported into their country before purchasing.
We may refuse or cancel an international order if:
- the destination country is not supported
- the item cannot be insured during transit
- the courier cannot safely deliver the item
- customs restrictions apply
- the address cannot be verified
- payment verification is unsuccessful
- the order is flagged as high risk
- shipping costs or import requirements cannot be confirmed
International delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to customs processing, courier delays, border checks, import inspections, public holidays, local delivery providers or circumstances outside our control.
6. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes
For international orders, the customer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, GST/VAT, clearance fees, brokerage fees, government charges and any other local costs payable in the destination country.
These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout.
LuvLuxe is not responsible for customs duties, taxes, import fees, delays, seizure, inspection, restrictions or refusal caused by customs, border control, import laws or local delivery providers.
If a customer refuses to pay customs duties, import taxes or clearance fees and the parcel is returned to LuvLuxe, the customer may be responsible for:
- original shipping costs
- return shipping costs
- customs charges
- courier fees
- handling fees
- any loss or damage caused during return transit
Any refund, where applicable, may be reduced by these costs, subject always to Australian Consumer Law and any rights that cannot be excluded.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout where applicable.
Shipping costs may vary depending on:
- delivery location
- item value
- item size and weight
- shipping method
- insurance requirements
- courier availability
- international destination
- promotional offers
From time to time, LuvLuxe may offer free shipping, promotional shipping or express shipping offers. These offers may be subject to separate conditions and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law or agreed by LuvLuxe in writing.
8. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the delivery location, courier network, public holidays, weather, customs processing, security checks, payment verification, high-value order checks or other circumstances outside our control.
LuvLuxe is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post, courier companies, international carriers, customs authorities, local postal networks, incorrect delivery details, payment verification or events outside our reasonable control.
9. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery where signature is required.
For international orders, tracking updates may be limited once the parcel enters the destination country or is handed to a local delivery provider.
If there is an issue with tracking or delivery, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist with an enquiry.
10. Signature on Delivery
Due to the nature and value of luxury resale items, some orders may require signature on delivery.
If signature on delivery is required, the item will only be delivered when someone is available to sign for it.
Once an item has been delivered to the nominated address, collected, or signed for by the customer or an authorised representative, the order is considered delivered, subject always to any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Authority to Leave
For security reasons, LuvLuxe may not allow authority to leave for high-value items.
If a customer requests or authorises a parcel to be left unattended, the customer accepts responsibility for any loss, theft or damage after the parcel has been delivered, subject to any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
For high-value, luxury or international orders, authority to leave may not be available.
12. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, please contact LuvLuxe as soon as possible.
We may need to lodge an investigation with the courier, postal service, insurance provider or delivery partner.
The timeframe for investigation depends on the delivery provider and may be longer for international orders.
Customers must not dispose of packaging, labels, courier documents or damaged items until the issue has been reviewed, as these may be required as evidence.
LuvLuxe will assess the matter in accordance with the delivery provider’s investigation, our records, insurance requirements and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
13. Insurance
Where appropriate, LuvLuxe may use insured shipping for selected high-value orders.
Insurance availability may depend on the courier, item value, destination country and shipping method.
If full insurance is not available for an item or destination, LuvLuxe may contact the customer before dispatch or may cancel the order and issue a refund.
Insurance does not cover customer error, including incorrect address details, refusal to pay customs charges, failure to collect, unauthorised redirection or authority to leave requests.
14. Click & Collect / In-Store Collection
Where click and collect or in-store collection is offered, customers may be required to provide:
- photo identification
- proof of purchase
- order confirmation
- matching payment details
- written authority if someone else is collecting
LuvLuxe may refuse collection if we cannot reasonably verify the purchaser’s identity, payment details or authority to collect.
Once an item has been collected by the customer or an authorised representative, the order is considered received.
15. Pre-Owned, Rare and Consignment Items
Many LuvLuxe items are pre-owned, vintage, rare, one-off or consigned items.
Because these items may not be replaceable, shipping security and verification checks may be stricter than standard retail orders.
LuvLuxe may choose the safest delivery method based on the item’s value, rarity, condition, insurance availability and delivery location.
16. Refused, Returned or Unclaimed Deliveries
If a parcel is refused, returned, unclaimed or unable to be delivered due to customer error, the customer may be responsible for costs incurred, including:
- original shipping costs
- return shipping costs
- redelivery costs
- customs duties or import taxes
- courier charges
- handling fees
For international orders, if a parcel is abandoned, seized, destroyed or not returned due to unpaid customs charges, refusal to accept delivery or import restrictions, LuvLuxe may not be able to provide a refund unless required by law.
