How long does it take to receive a quote?

What is the difference between Instant Sale and Consignment?

Instant Salemeans LuvLuxe may buy your item directly after inspection and authentication.Consignmentmeans LuvLuxe lists and markets your item on your behalf, usually giving you a higher return once it sells.

Do you authenticate all items?

Yes. Every item sold through LuvLuxe must pass our authenticity review before final sale or dispatch.

Can I inspect an item in store?

Some items can be inspected in store, but not all stock is held on-site. Some consignment pieces may still be with the seller. Please contact us before visiting if you are looking for a specific item.

Do you accept change-of-mind returns?

Yes. LuvLuxe only sells authentic items. Every item is reviewed before sale, and selected items may also be checked using specialist tools, third-party authentication providers or expert review.

Can I request more photos or videos before buying?

Yes. You can contact us before purchasing and request additional photos, close-ups or videos where available.

Are prices negotiable?

Can I reserve an item?

Can I buy online and collect in store?

Most LuvLuxe items are pre-owned, vintage, rare, discontinued, consigned or one-off resale pieces. Each item is checked, described and photographed before sale.

What payment methods do you accept?

LuvLuxe may accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, bank transfer, layby and selected third-party payment options where available.

How much deposit is required for layby?

The minimum layby deposit starts from10% of the item price. For selected items, we may request a higher deposit.

Why do some layby items require 20% deposit?

+

For some items, especially higher-value or popular items, we may request a20% depositbecause the item is being held and removed from sale while the layby is active.

How long can I pay over?

The maximum layby period is30 days, unless otherwise agreed by LuvLuxe in writing.

What happens if I miss a layby payment?

+

If your layby is still within the agreed 30-day timeframe, you can continue paying. There is no extra charge simply for missing a payment, but the full balance must still be paid within the agreed period.

Can layby items be returned or cancelled?

+

Layby items are held specifically for the customer, so cancellations and returns are limited. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted unless agreed by LuvLuxe or required under Australian Consumer Law.

Do you ship the item before layby is fully paid?

No. Layby items are only released, collected or shipped once the full balance has been paid and cleared.

Why does humm not show on some products?

humm may not appear on every item due to product value, payment provider settings, risk checks, customer eligibility or checkout restrictions.

How does LuvLuxe authenticate items?

LuvLuxe uses a combination of in-house inspection, product knowledge, serial or reference review, material and hardware checks, market comparison and selected third-party authentication tools or providers.

Do you provide a LuvLuxe certificate?

Yes. LuvLuxe may provide a LuvLuxe authenticity certificate or authenticity guarantee card with eligible items.

Do you use Entrupy?

Yes, Entrupy authentication may be provided on eligible items where possible. Availability depends on the brand, category, item type and whether the item is supported by Entrupy.

Are all items 100% authentic?

Yes. Every item sold by LuvLuxe must be authentic. We do not knowingly accept, sell or list replica, fake, counterfeit or unauthorised items.

What does lifetime authenticity guarantee mean?

LuvLuxe’s lifetime authenticity guarantee means we stand behind the authenticity of items sold by us. If a genuine authenticity concern arises, we will review the matter with supporting evidence and take appropriate steps in line with our policies and Australian Consumer Law.

What happens if a third-party authenticator disagrees?

Authentication opinions can vary depending on the provider, method, information available and timing of assessment. If a recognised third-party authenticator raises a genuine concern, LuvLuxe will review the item and supporting evidence carefully.

Do all items come with original receipts, boxes or cards?

Not always. Any available inclusions such as box, dust bag, receipt, certificate, authenticity card, service papers or spare links will be listed on the product page.

Can I inspect an item in store?

Some items can be inspected in store, but not all stock is held on-site. Some consignment pieces may still be with the seller. Please contact us before visiting if you are looking for a specific item

Can someone else collect my order?

Yes, but we must verify the collection. We may request photo ID from the person collecting, proof of order, the payment method used, and ID for the person who paid.

What ID do I need for collection?

For security, we may request photo ID of the collection person, order confirmation, proof of purchase, the card or payment method used, photo ID of the person who made the payment, and written permission if someone else is collecting.

Why do you ask for ID on collection?

ID verification helps protect customers and LuvLuxe from fraud, unauthorised collection and payment disputes.

Can I request authority to leave?

Who pays customs duties and import taxes?

The buyer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, GST/VAT, clearance fees, brokerage fees and other charges payable in the destination country.

Are customs duties included in the price?

No, customs duties and import taxes are not included unless clearly stated at checkout.

Can luxury items be returned internationally?

+

LuvLuxe does not accept international change-of-mind returns. Because items are pre-owned, luxury, one-off or consignment pieces, returns are only considered where required under applicable law or where there is a genuine approved issue.

What happens if customs delays my parcel?

Customs delays are outside LuvLuxe’s control. We can provide shipping information where available, but we cannot control customs processing times, border inspections or local import requirements.

What happens if I refuse to pay customs charges?

If a parcel is refused, abandoned or returned because customs charges were not paid, the buyer may be responsible for original shipping, return shipping, customs charges, courier fees and handling costs.

Can all items be shipped internationally?

No. Some items may not be suitable for international shipping due to value, insurance availability, courier restrictions, customs rules or internal security checks.

Many LuvLuxe items are pre-owned, rare, vintage, consigned, one-off or high-value resale pieces. Because they are not easily replaceable, returns must be handled carefully.

Can I return an item if I chose the wrong size?

No. Choosing the wrong size is considered change of mind unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law. Please review measurements carefully before purchasing.

What if the item is faulty or significantly misdescribed?

If you believe your item is faulty, incorrect or significantly different from the description, contact us as soon as possible with your order number, photos, videos and a clear explanation.

What if the issue was already shown in the photos or description?

If an issue was clearly shown or disclosed before purchase, such as corner wear, hardware scratches or interior marks, it is not usually considered a reason for return.

Are pre-owned signs of wear considered faults?

Not usually. Pre-owned luxury items may show normal signs of age, use, storage or handling, including light scratches, leather creasing, patina, hardware marks, minor interior marks or shape loss.

Who pays return shipping?

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to a fault, major problem, incorrect item, misdescription or another issue where LuvLuxe is required to cover costs under Australian Consumer Law.

Do I need a receipt to sell my item?

No, a receipt is not always required. However, receipts, authenticity cards, certificates, service papers and original packaging can help increase buyer confidence.

Can LuvLuxe refuse my item?

Yes. LuvLuxe may refuse any item if it does not meet our authenticity, condition, brand, resale or commercial requirements.

Is a quote guaranteed?

No. Any quote given before physical inspection is preliminary only. Final approval depends on inspection, authentication, condition, inclusions and market demand.

How LuvLuxe consignment works, including listing, pricing, commission and payout.

What is consignment?

Consignment means you still own your item while LuvLuxe helps sell it for you. Once the item sells and the transaction is complete, LuvLuxe deducts the agreed commission and pays you the remaining balance.

How does LuvLuxe consignment work?

You submit item details and photos, LuvLuxe reviews the item and recommends a selling price, you accept the terms, we list and market the item, and once it sells the item is sent or brought to LuvLuxe for final inspection, authentication and dispatch.

Do I need to send my item before it sells?

+

Not usually. For selected consignment arrangements, your item can stay with you while we list and market it. Once sold, it must be sent or brought to LuvLuxe for final inspection, authentication and dispatch.

Who decides the selling price?

+

LuvLuxe recommends a market-based selling price using brand, model, condition, inclusions, demand and comparable resale data. You may share your preferred price, but the final listing price should be realistic.

How much commission does LuvLuxe charge?

+

Commission depends on the final selling price and current consignment terms. Current standard guide:$0–$9,999: 20%and$10,000+: 12%. Premium, rare or high-value pieces may be reviewed individually.

When do I get paid for consignment?

+

You are paid once the item has sold, the buyer’s payment has cleared, the item has passed final inspection and authentication, and the transaction is completed.

Is there an automatic price drop?

+

Yes. If your item has not sold after 30 days, the listing price may be reduced by 10% to keep it competitive, unless otherwise agreed.

Can I cancel my consignment?

+

You may cancel before the item has sold, provided there are no active buyer commitments, pending transactions or agreed costs already incurred.

You must contact LuvLuxe immediately. If the item is unavailable after a buyer commitment, the sale may need to be cancelled and further action may apply depending on the situation.

What if the item does not match the submitted photos?

If the item differs from the submitted photos or description, LuvLuxe may cancel the sale, refuse the item, return it to you, or charge reasonable service, authentication, handling, postage or other expenses.

What happens if undisclosed damage is found?

If undisclosed damage is found, LuvLuxe may revise the price, cancel the sale, refuse the item or return it to the seller.

What happens if my item is found to be replica or not authentic?

LuvLuxe will not sell the item. The seller may be responsible for reasonable costs including authentication, handling, return shipping and related expenses. Charges may start from $150 AUD and may increase depending on the item and situation.

Why does LuvLuxe need seller ID?

For selected consignment, buyout or high-value transactions, LuvLuxe may request ID to verify identity, confirm ownership, prevent fraud and protect buyers and sellers.

Take clear photos in good lighting against a plain white or neutral background. Avoid filters, shadows and blurry images.

Please include front, back, both sides, base, interior, corners, edges, handles, strap, hardware, logo or brand stamp, serial number or date code, any wear, and any included box, dust bag, receipt or card.

How do I measure a handbag?

How should I describe condition?

Please describe condition honestly and mention any marks, scratches, stains, odours, repairs, missing parts, hardware wear, loose stones, servicing issues or anything not clear in photos.
